February 2012

I can't believe it is only a year ago this month that we decided to get together and form Wildlife A&E. So much has happened in the past year, in total we helped over a hundred animals in trouble and got 90% of those back into the wild. We have worked closely with WRAS especially throughout the orphan season, helping to care for some of the orphans and will do again this year. As rehabilitators we all need to work together as we still have the same aims, to get the animals back where they belong. Working together we can offer advice and gain knowledge as there is always something we havent come across before. We are always learning and need to, as you never know what is going to come through the door next time.

I would like to thank everyone who has supported us in our first year, including those that have donated, helped with advice and support, veterinary treatment and our volunteers who have given their spare time and more, without you we couldnt have done it.

We have a busy time ahead of us with orphan season beginning, we have also got a few events booked for later in the year. So watch this space.
